Class Information

Physical Science - Basic concepts of Physics and Chemistry are studied in this class. The Nature of Science, Motion, Forces, Properties of Matter, the Periodic Table, and Chemical Reactions are some of the topics the students learn about. We practice applying the scientific method throughout the year by doing various activities and labs.

Anatomy and Physiology - Anatomy is the study of the structure of the body and Physiology is the study of how the body functions.  The students will learn about the various body systems.  There is much memorization involved with learning parts of the body and students will be dissecting rats to aid in the learning of organ locations and functions.
